The Journey of 2015 Begins! So as we closed out 2014 only a few short hours ago I find myself reflecting on the good, the bad, the ugly and the indifferent. The year of 2014 was an interesting journey and at times I had no idea where I would end up or even if I…
After the decision is made and hopefully before the consequences are felt, I change my strategy completely. Rather than influence the decision, I attempt to SHAPE the decision. At this point you’re not trying to change the decision, you’re trying to maximize its impact and minimize its harm.

What can be said at a time like this? Words are inadequate to describe the hurt and the pain of those that have lost loved ones to senseless acts of violence through the years. Today is no different. The people affected today will not be comforted by words, they are going to need time to grieve. Through the actions of one man, 20 plus people have lost their lives and among that number most of them were innocent children. I am not negating any of those because I believe that these things can enhance a ministry but they are not necessary to start one. In this portion of scripture you also see Jesus’ model for ministry. He started three things at the beginning of his ministry that significantly mark the ministry of Jesus for the rest of his time on this earth.
